Is condition-based SKU generation possible both manually and automatically?
Yes, condition-based SKU generation is possible in manual generation and can also be automated when adding a new product.
Go to the SKU Generation screen. You can use either the "Generate SKU" or "Automated SKU" screens.
In the "Conditional Values" section, you can set conditions based on various product attributes, including Product Title, Product Type, Product Vendor, Variant Title, and Product Tag. Assign a specific value to be added to the SKU if the condition is met.
3. The system checks whether the value entered in "Match With" is equal to the specified attribute value. If it matches, the defined value is added to the SKU.
For Product Tags, the condition works differently. Instead of checking for an exact match, it verifies whether the SKU includes the specified value, as a product can have multiple tags.
Once these conditions are set, the corresponding values will be automatically added to the SKU.
