How to find your GA4 Measurement ID

Your Measurement ID connects your Shopify store to Google Analytics 4. It always starts with G-.

Steps

1. Go to analytics.google.com and sign in
2. Click Admin (bottom-left gear)
3. In the Property column, click Data streams
4. Click your Web data stream
5. No stream yet? Click Add stream → Web, enter your store URL, then create it
6. At the top right, copy Measurement ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX)

Where to paste it

1. Open AB: Google Analytics in Shopify Admin
2. Paste the ID in the Measurement ID field
3. Click Save & Continue

Tips

• Use the Web stream that matches your Shopify store domain
• Do not confuse Measurement ID with Stream ID or Property ID
• Valid format: starts with G-, then letters and numbers
